Ciabattas vary across the different regions of Italy but they only date back to 1982! Developed to be a sandwich loaf by baker Arnaldo Cavallari from Adria, they have a crisp crust and light, holey interior. Because ours are made with a highly hydrated dough, we dust them with flour and give them a good, long bake to ensure the crust stays crisp.

All orders you place on this website will be held for pick-up at Delmonico's Heritage Butcher after 1 p.m. the day of pickup until closing time.

When you place an online bread order, you'll receive a confirmation email the day you place the order and a reminder email the day(s) of your pickup. On the day of pickup, just head over to Delmonico’s. Give them your name and they’ll give you your bread.
